I get it. Do you?

Where is it written that reeking religious faith is any more courteous than reeking perfume?

How rude is it to compare expressing heart felt religious faith (protected by the first amendment ) with wearing an obscene TShirt ( not protected by any of the bill of rights )

Courtesy and rights are two different concepts. You are mixing apples and oranges. I said nothing about rights. Had I been comparing one right against the other right, it would be a different argument. But I wasn't. Courtesy includes the voluntary restraint on the pursuit of one's rights, be they freedom of speech or freedom of religion, out of consideration for others.

As for the rudeness of my having expressed my analysis of the situation, I submit that it would be PC or intellectually dishonest or both to refrain from civilly and in the appropriate forum making points about important issues rather than offend someone who is party to the debate. I'm sorry if you were offended, but that's what I think and I will continue to think that until and unless someone gives me an argument that disabuses me of it. If you want to debate my premise rather than claim offense at it, let's do it. But in the immortal words of DMA <g>, you won't shame me out of making an honest and legitimate point.
