How do you think up this stuff?? It took me a while just to get the laugh tears out of my eyes in order to answer your post....

I've held the cliff theroy for some time and have always been amazed that it has worked so well for some many years in the market.

Answer to your previous question on rebalancing the value to growth, growth to value. Fund managers in growth and value funds are required to hold stocks that are in there supposed expertise. By shifting growth stocks to value and visa versa forces movement from one to the other..managers may not like it but they do not have much choice.

The obvious is to play the game along with the fundies, buying those in the growth shift and shorting those that are moving to value. Presently, the market in general is supposed to be overvalued and not expected to show much more value for most of 05' Small cap growth stocks are perceived to be in favor for most of 05' with little attention paid to value in those particular issues. Thus the herd has been given direction to the cliff all the while those who sit in amazement of the continued mentality make some money. <GGGG>

Earlier you made mention of a stock pickers' market...We have (including yourself) a bunch of some of the best pickers' I've ever seen. We will do well in 05'.
