More importantly: does the clause "all men are created equal" suggest egalitarianism? Affirming, promoting, or characterized by belief in equal political, economic, social, and civil rights for all people. I would call "all men are created equal" the foundational idea for the morality of seeking e·gal·i·tar·i·an goals.
