I think it is more accurate to say the majority of the world dislikes him. The difference is that in case of Canadians Bush's negative image has not rubbed off on Americans, but for the rest of the world a nation who could vote for Bush can't be that far off from him.

Actually..the majority of Canadians just think he's stupid.
And although Canadians don't necessarily dislike stupid people, they dislike and fear stupid Presidents of a neighbouring country that has the ability to affect their lives in a detrimental way..
