Amy, couldn't find the search engine on Knight Ridder, and a search on the SJ Mercury turned up one article from September, which I can't access without paying. No, never when there are 3000 people more focused on God material than concern over the head smashing of a mentally retarded child. Sigh, looks like I need to repeat myself. If I had a tough time trying to search for that story, how many of those 3,000 do you think have heard of that story? Why are you assuming that they are willfully ignoring the plight of that poor girl when they've never heard of that girl in the first place? Is that FOXNews' fault? Puh-lease, I think Google is a good indication of how few people know about the story of the mentally retarded girl. Yet you continue to judge those who are "focused on God material."
