Not only that. Now they are talking about attacking Iran (Abizaid hinted that we may use nukes on them). How would the Shias in Iraq react to that? And what happens if thousands of Iranian Shia insurgents respond to an attack on Iran by crossing over to Iraq and start fighting the US and UK forces? (US and UK is all that we have; I am not keen to count on the handful of folks from Lithunia, Latvia etc. nor am I counting on the cook from Palau! ;-) ) This mess is getting more and more rancid by the day. I think there will be a draft soon, even if we didn't invade Iran. It is not a question of "if", it is a question of "when".
