You can make marginal progress but the ultimate goal may still turn out to be unattainable. We have to deal with that possibility. I may be quicker to recognize that than you--maybe too quick. But post election, american sweeps into other cities or back to falujah may simply turn out to be counterproductive. Some feel new govt will ask us to leave and we will have no choice regardless of what sun said about voiding the elections. mike
