I'm glad someone got a laugh out of that. For me it was just...not funny. I guess I just wasn't in the right mood to enjoy the whole thing.

BTW- we've seen some excellent foreign movies lately, on video-

I liked The Girl from Paris very much- nice little slice of life film about a 30 something woman who gets fed up with life in Paris, and takes a course to become a farmer, and buys a goat farm in the mountains. The French actress in the movie played the bad mother in the film Alias Betty (which was a very good mystery film- a mystery with a very interesting and touching premise).

We also like Facing Windows - slice of life, and Monsieur Ibrahim- in which Omar Sharif plays a Sufi. It's a wonderful philosophical movie, and coming of age story, and road trip picture- all wrapped up in one excellent package.
