NTP does not want injunction, it wants royalties. If RIM does not sell products, NTP does not get money.

District Court advised 8.55% royalty payments from RIM to NTP, and the Appeals Court let it stand yesterday. RIM's best hope at this point is to negotiate the royalty payments closer to the industry standard of 4-5%.

RIM will also have to part with the $118mn accrued royalties currently sitting in their bank, it seems...
