Chill, michael97123 . The "appeasement" line has a long history here, it was thrown with some regularity at anybody who questioned W's resolute march to war in Iraq . There had to be a war, because any attempt at a negotiated settlement would be "appeasement". So, W got his war, and there we sit.

Currently, the "appeasement" line seems to be popular with people angling for an Iran war, but given past usage it's hard to take it seriously.
