Even a tough revolutionary guy like Marcos, who knows lots of stuff about everything from avocados to zinc (including the Corn Laws), stands in awe of the American market. He's so concerned about losing it that he's willing to pay big bucks into escrow to keep his market share, on the offhand chance that he might get it back some day. The Chinese make a pittance for all their dirty work, and loan the money back to us to support our low mortgage rates. This finances the US building boom that demands ever more Canadian lumber, and adds to the escrow jackpot for the eventual winner of the big poker game. When you boycott US products it means that we have more time on our hands to watch Nascar races, golf, travel to Disney Land, etc. Americans don't have to work anymore, it's all done by foreigners (both here and abroad). -Snow
