a ten thou investment in each of 6 longs and shorts from the barrons roundtable forum by doc faber (the edition is close to the beginning of the year) - long SLB,XLE, DO, CVX, APC, EWM and short : CTX, HOV, TOL, LEN, SMH, and CHN would currently be to the plus of
$9,272.05

not a loss but all the long picks are in the green...the four homie picks are all RED...TOL was the worst of the lot..

i'm looking forward to the '05 roundtable for an update :)

No, but it's getting tempting.

I am am short MBI, which has some well chronicled accounting issues, and will likely add on any further run-up.
