Here's a little story:

Once upon a time there was a nonconforming sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter. However, soon the weather turned so cold that he reluctantly started to fly south. In a short time ice began to form on his wings and he fell to earth in a barnyard, almost frozen. A cow passed by and crapped on the little sparrow. The sparrow thought it was the end. But the manure warmed him and defrosted his wings. Since there was nothing else to eat, the sparrow had to eat the manure just to survive.

In this way the sparrow, not only endured the winter, but thrived. At the return of spring, warm, fat and happy, the sparrow flew out of the barnyard and perched himself on a high tree where he started to sing. In fact, he made such a racket that it attracted a hunter who came by and shot the sparrow down and killed it.

And the moral of the story is ---
