The point is that you would build Transflash into devices where the data is not transferred by moving a memory card. Mobile phone companies do not want to sell phones with removable flash cards because their intent is to charge us for the airtime necessary to transmit the photos. It isn't clear yet whether that strategy will succeed. If it does, Transflash will be important. If it doesn't, Transflash will not be important, at least not in the phone market. Until that game is played out, SNDK needs to offer both approaches.
