I don't think Allawi can get elected.

The highest voter turnout will be in the south (Shiites) and north (Kurds). Everybody in the middle (Sunnis) can't get out to go the store as things now stand, so I doubt that they're going to want to take their chances as sitting ducks waiting in line to vote.

I think Sistani's ticket will do VERY well.
