Per usual, the right-wing doesn't understand the concept of statistics. The red states have more divorces, lower test scores and an inability to support themselves without handouts from the blue states. I, for one, would be happy to see the Southern Red States secede. They've been a drag on the rest of us for such a long time. As with many divorces, the Blue States would see an immediate increase in standard of living while the Red States would dissolve into abject poverty. Sounds like a reasonable idea.
