Just to keep the record straight, FTC not FCC. I first broke the FTC/Dorian/HITT news on the A@P thread on May 9 (well ahead of the Evans article <g!>): Message 9416763

I had a good PM tip that a billion dollar market cap was, ahem ... "slightly mismatched" with company performance.

"The HITT dirt was public through the FCC and they found it."

You need to keep on reading.

As I said in my post, go back and read through the posts on HITT from about May 10th 1999 through May 16th just to see the arrogance and chest pounding. Also notice the interaction amoung them, who posts to who.

Once HITT crashed from about 20 to 12, I suspect that Tony and his friends took their profits and moved on. We, on the other hand, continued to research HITT for a couple more years, until the SEC finally took action against them.

You should understand that the "group" you refer to is actually a number of individuals with the same interest in exposing scams.
