This is now the "accepted wisdom" from the left and the MSM. It will come up again if Kerry tries for re-election.

It may take ten or twenty years, but the historians will get it right. While I don't think that Kerry is destined for iconic status on the left, he is a sure thing if he runs for re-election. It is Massachusetts, right...ah, make that left?
