Yes sexual selection is a factor but it always was. The additional factor that has been removed is the survival factor. True some people still die before they are old enough to have a reasonable chance to have had kids but the percentage is much lower. Don't get me wrong, its a great thing that this change has happened but it should have a slowing effect on human evolution. Of course its possible for that effect to be swamped by other effects if there are large effects that would increase the pase of human evolution.
