I don't think the US allows polygamy no matter where you come from- the Mormons have run in to that kind of problem in Utah. FWIW I don't care if we recognize polygamous marriages. I think people ought to define their domestic arrangements, if they are adults, any way that they want. I do think the same rules ought to apply to everyone though, and not be drawn up with the express purpose to sanction the exclusion of whole classes of people.
