Thanks.....As for the offending sentence, it is true enough that mostly people who make some religious profession care about it, but I do not think that it is based on sheer dogma. Plenty of people who are not fundamentalists prefer civil union. Those who are religiously against homosexuality usually jump on me for supporting civil unions, in fact.
