Really? Not many in most countries. Look at China, Japan, the European and many countries. They are below replacement level in many cases. Some are in free-fall [Italy for example where the infallible Papal encyclical bans contraception - giggle; people must be fessing up at confession and getting absolution regularly].

Generation X and Y in our village are not prolific breeders. I guess about half or more will never have children. But I'm guessing again.

That's two guesses in two posts. I should check with Google and get data.
