Yes, I think we are going to have to re-densify our spread out settlement patterns, and re-invent mass transport between centres. I suspect that the more or less complete scrapping of railroads across most of the country is going to look like a mistake sooner than later. That does not mean that I am going to plunk down some change on Bombardier, though, any time soon.

Malcolm,

I'm v. bullish on Canadian real estate (and quality REITs) because if the Loonie continues to rise then the BOC will keep rates low and that will keep property values high and borrowing costs low, however since business may suffer in some sectors with the high Loonie, I think you have to pick your REITs carefully.

I am increasing my weighting in AP.UN.
