I wasn't, no. Most definitely not. I realize that my description of the difference between left and right is simplistic. I started the post with a caveat to that effect. It may be simplistic but I think I captured the essence and I don't see what might be so controversial about it. So, whatever it was that I said that you perceive as provocative, it wasn't intentional. I'm having muscle spasms in my shoulder so I'm in no shape to engage in a posting contest. <g>

The left would give them self-respect, justice, and hand-outs. The right would invade them, topple their governments, and set up democracy and commerce.
