There would be NO drugs on the market if a dose limit was not placed on the label..

The cox-2's, we now know were *incorrectly* perceived by physicians and patients alike as safe and if a little helps, more helps even more..I too confess to dosing above the label..preload increased<g> I shoulda' written to NEJM providing anecdotal evidence..maybe I'd be famous now for calling it early..shux, couldn't suppress the urge..<g>

Jeff was placed on 800mg/day..but he was young, on decadron and hard to differentiate what was causing what..

IMHO, Tylenol is more dangerous as an OTC than these coxibs...do you know how many deaths/hospitalizations occur on an annual basis for non-suicidal intended overdoses?
