<<NOW I guess you read the news. YEP, now Celebrex is possibly capable of causing heart attacks. jdn>>

I just heard that, another study says no.

One study shows Viagra can also cause heart attacks but the people taking Viagra die happier than those taking Celebrex.

Sorry Lindy.

Sorry to have been flippant. If the cartilage is shot they have a new mesh that attracts stem cells and grows new cartilage. Golfer Jack Nicolaus has a new hip he's happy with.

JDN-- I still have about enough vioxx to last 6 months. Next I'll try the Bextra as Celebrex did nothing for me. Bextra has warnings too. So there are 3 choices, take one and those chances, put up with the pain, or call Doctor K.
Actually, the pain clinic in Cleve has me on a couple other things that take care of pain with little effect on the liver & kidneys. Watch the over the counter stuff if you like your liver & kidneys- not to mention your stomach

Celebrex is possibly capable of causing heart attacks

It took dosages of 400MG to cause them. I don't think your dosage is anywhere near that.
