I'm not even sure it is a third. You might have a third that think the Bible is very important and interpret the Constitution in a way that is more favorable to their religious views. You also have a few (but probably much less than a third) that would like to make major changes in the Constitution for religious reasons. But I don't think you have a third that think the Bible actually is the supreme law of the land. Even literalist can look to statements like " "give to Caesar what is Caesar's".

A third of the country might be pretty religious but they are not all a bunch of raving fundamentalists that don't care about the constitution. That might be more like a tenth.
