What is it about this poem that fascinates you so? Does it speak to you of justice for warmongers? Are you enthralled by the mother birthing her son into the maw of the State with a capital righteous S? Are you charmed by the idea of supreme sacrifice? Are you spellbound by the qualities such men called upon so that you and I can sit around here discussing our feelings in comfort? These men are in their 80s now. They played their part in history.
