Re: In some foreign countries, they have a better system where the Vice President has to come from a different Party than President while their version of Congress is required to have political diversity. Each and every minority group gets represented. The USA system really needs to be rewritten.

Somehow we must promote compromise between the various groups. What will do this I am not clear on. Our current system could let a 51% majority totally dominate the entire political process, if the distribution were very uniform, since they could elect both the executive plus all members of Congress. This would also lead to full judicial control. Arguing that it is not likely since the geographical distribution of opinion is not uniform is beside the point. The fact is that the current structure has a problem.
