"Religious belief is determined by a person's genetic make-up according to a study by a leading scientist."

"the gene, VMAT2."

Interesting..........I am not surprised. I have never been able to understand why one can believe in God so easily. There is so little evidence of his existence other than word of mouth. If it wasn't for some supernatural experiences in my life, I would not even consider the concept. Even as a kid, I saw God in the same way as Santa Claus........an imaginary being.

"This is not a thing that is strictly handed down from parents to children. It could skip a generation - it's like intelligence."

I didn't know that......it certainly explains some things.
