That is really odd. I can't think why anyone would take a kid to Sideways. Maybe they couldn't afford a babysitter.

As movies go I guess it wasn't as bad as some of the super violent movies. I really hate to see kids in movies with extreme violence, and parents do seem to take their kids to those- and seem less inhibited about having their kids see violence, than sex- and I'm just the opposite. Sex I can explain, and it's a positive thing- even if I don't want my kids having it for a while, but violence isn't something I want them involved in, except in a case of last resort, and I certainly don't want them seeing violence as something that is entertaining.
