My kids really enjoyed Lemony. They have read all the books, and they like Jim Carey- so I didn't figure the movie would disappoint them. Kids seem to enjoy the experience, even when the movie in an adult's opinion, sucks. I remember absolutely loathing the Grinch. I thought they had ruined the book. But my kids liked the movie as a kind of separate creation- and since kid standards are different than adult standards, that's ok. I really enjoyed Punchdrunk Love. I thought it was a really unusual movie- and I like unusual.
