None of the new GM crops can stand on their own but require massive amounts of chemicals. It is now a common site to see chemical sprayers with wings up to a 100 feet across followed by semi trailers with huge vats of chemicals right after seeding. The first ground water here is completely contaminated with farm chemical run off and that has affected all the southern lakes and fish. Without adequate testing we have introduced into our food chain new crops in the last ten years to replace crops that have been growing successfully for tens of thousands of years and no one knows the long term consequences.
