The hip joint pain you describe sounds like it might be identical to mine. Perhaps we ought to PM each other and discuss this? Mine has not been diagnosed, ie they dont know what it is. Here are my symptoms:
1. Pain usually starts in lower left hand (facing front) portion of back. If I stand too long, or walk too far it often transmits around along my groin area to the front (where the leg meets the trunk of the body).
2. Sitting in most chairs seems to instigate it, although sitting in my swivel, relatively firm computer chair does not.

I have been xrayed and NO signs of arthritis, broken hip bone or anything related to bone is apparent. The Doctor prescribed 6 weeks of physical therapy, where I get acupuncture, some type of electronic muscle massage and much exercise. None of this has helped yet after first 4 weeks.
I have not had an MRI but the doctor said its probably either muscular or sciatica nerve related. Any of this sound familiar to you?
Now, as to Celebrex, according to what I read over the weekend here is the results of that one study. (2) Celebrex (200mg each) taken daily results in 3.5 times more likely to have a carduralogical event. (1) Celebrex 200mg daily results in 2.3 times more likely to have that event. I havent yet spoken to my doctor but I have stopped taking them for now, after having JUST bought a 90 day supply. jdn
