LB, Having race, or belief, based schools is nothing new. On the mainland there are schools for Native Americans, moslems, mormons, and then the dreaded Catholic schools where the Nuns' wield their rulers, but in most cases, these are not really public places if the group pays for them, instead of the general body of taxpayers.

IMO, the main problem in schools, is the NEA. This union has aided the core of teachers become political advocates, instead of being dedicated teachers. In many cases, they have been more concerned with their paychecks than their students.

The name of the day is, and has been for 2,000 years, is "Christmas", so it is going to be "totally" Christian. If other groups want to have a holiday during the same season, so be it, but they have no right to try to inhibit the Christian celebration.
