My comment is specific to the fact that China has kicked Japan's butt on many consumer products due to the following formula: Simple and low-cost. If you mean consumer electronics products, please inform us as to which Chinese companies are kicking Sony, NEC, Sharp, Panasonic and Canon butts? I can't seem to think of one. If they are making consumer products I should know their names (because presumably I buy from them). In fact, I can't think of one meaningful Chinese branded consumer product company at all......so they must be making generics?
