Frontline which used to be a great investigative news source has swung right too I remember them doing 3 hours on Whitewater in the 90s.... gross To their credit, they did some exposes of Iraq and Bush that were pretty good

this is what I just got Chris, I need to correct the record on what is going on in Oregon with the apparent censorship of the Bill Moyers' NOW program. We have found that it was only our local cable provider who substituted a "Secrets of the Dead" segment for NOW. And apparently the reason was a technical issue with the loss of the audio signal. An adjacent town with a different cable provided did show the program, and it did have audio difficulties during a portion of the program. So now we're trying to sort out the difficulty at the Oregon Public Broadcasting end of things, since they did manage to get the program onto a broadcast translater in this area at the scheduled program time. We'll probably never get to the bottom of this. If there is a politically motivated technician in the public broadcasting system who wanted to sabotage the program, it will be hard to discover his tricks. If it is a legitimate outage of the program, the local cable company sure did a lousy job of announcing that they had to substitute an archived program. They made no indication of this last night. Anyway, this has turned out to be much ado about nothing. Sorry for the false (if in fact it was false) alarm.
