Rick, I share the sentiments of your last two posts on this issue..

Media/class action suit lawyers interfering with scientist's jobs at the FDA/industry labs..sure, it's more complicated than that..but a start in my thinking reinforced post the media blitz since Friday..we probably have the most cautious reg. agencies in the world?

I don't know..how much information should the media/public know while the agency we rely on to figure things out with industry when issues come up..

What would be the outcome if HONEST dialogue occured without fear of media/litigious whipping..

It's useful to remember that politicians, especially Congress, has nurtured and protected the tobacco industry to the best of their ability. This says it all about their concern for public health.
