OK. If that's how you feel, then you should definitely contact your Democratic congressman and urge them to vote against privatization. However, 51% of all Americans don't believe SS will be there when they retire. That's a huge amount of people that have no trust that our gov't can provide for them better than they can provide for themselves.

I think that's a good point.

I think a partial privatization wouldn't invalidate this valid point.
