I think there are a lot of innocent people caught up in our detention system. Some have been there for over three years, without right to an attorney or a trial. I think that is wrong. It is amazing to me that human rights organizations all over the world are questioning the fascistic tactics of the Americans, and yet it is hardly even publicized in America, and the conservatives seem to be in total denial. It is conservatives who rave on about the wonderful freedoms in our democracy. Guess what? Gone! We lost the high moral ground, and almost everyone hates us, and we torture and disappear and kill people in detention quite frequently now. How could any sane person not see that this is a big problem?
