are all the holidays in December proxies for Christmas?

Not in my book, at least not at this point in time. Maybe a few centuries from now, Dec 14 may well be accepted/celebrated as QM day, but I dont see it as a replacement for Dec 25 : Christmas.

I too am an agnostic....

<This site, Agnostica.com, was launched on December 14, 2000... December 14 is the start of the Agnostica Holiday.>

If I start a web site called kumar.com on Dec 25, does that change the day from Christmas to Kumar Holiday ? No.

Dec 14 is the start date of one more web site amongst millions. No more, no less.
