So? This whole discussion began by someone claiming Chinese companies were eating Japanese companies bento lunches.

that doesn't mean that the Chinese economy isn't very important to the world economy.

You're debating with no one here. No one has claimed the opposite. My point is that Chinese companies are not major players in anything branded, and as far as products go, electronic or not, the brands are where the money/profit is.

But one thing's for sure, if China has " the biggest economic collapse of my lifetime", the economic ramifications to the United States will put us in the deepest economic recession of your lifetime, too.
