what does health insurance really ensure -- I keep asking myself this question since my Dad was ignored 3 times with chest pain and then had a heart attack before he got the attention of folks in the local ER ... All it really ensures is that you won't be affected catasrophically - financially if you get really sick -- I guess as long as one realizes its limitations that is fine. So many want a pill to make them better -- got to take responsibility instead, IMO. How much does it cost to take care of yourself?
