Reselling Pantech phones won't affect profits much but will drive down margins. It looks like UTSI doesn't want to manufacture old style phones and are going to put the old Audiovox company into the TC-WCDMA 3G business. Maybe using the know how obtained from the Koreans. If this is correct then UTSI management is once again ignoring how things look to Wall Street in the short run and going for the approach that yields the most profit in the long run. IMHO...
