Only 11.2% of adults in poverty (defined as under $18,000 per year) had full time jobs, according to your link. Doesn't it make sense that if more people worked, fewer would be poor?

Additionally, 65 percent of work age people in families with less than $10,000 of income do not have a job. The primary cause of low income is no wages - not low wages.
