Ray, it's not science fiction. For example eny.hut.fi

The Mitsubishi patent was in about 1990 and I came up with the method in 1987 while BP was paying me money to mess about with all that stuff. It seemed silly to me that such an obvious idea could be patented. Since you are obviously bamboozled by the idea, I guess it's not so obvious. Arm-waving mystics are bamboozled by sciency things.

I guess you think I really suckered them in paying me money for Buck Rogers science fiction.

Mqurice

PS: Sorry, but Google wasn't up to finding the actual Mitsubishi patent without me working harder. Which I didn't. You could have a go. Or maybe it's the flue gas desulphuristion and particulate separators you haven't heard of?

Increased federal funding for "clean coal" was one of John Kerry's positions in the recent presidential election. Like you, I'm rather dubious about the concept.
