<the US is pretty self-indulgent> Corpulence and bad diet is spreading across the world, so the USA doesn't have the competition won yet - it's a never-ending race. Coca Cola is doing what it can to make the world equally debilitated.

Yes, there are PLENTY of cigarettes in Japan. There are very few fatties though. Cigarettes are bad, but I don't think they are as bad as a bad diet leading to obesity. And a good diet I guess will help defend against pollution.
