As we destroy the environment of this planet, we need nobody's permission -- how wise.

1 - This whole line of argument "assumes facts not in evidence" in regards to "destroying the environment of the planet".

2 - To the extent that we are harming the environment your right we need no one else's permission. Global CO2 levels are basically in "the commons". No one owns them or controls them, no permission is needed. If they are ever effectively removed from the commons by a world wide treaty that pretty much includes everyone or by a world government than things will be different but perhaps not to your liking.

3 - Meanwhile the percentage of the world's CO2 emissions coming from the US is decreasing.
