TIME Person of the Year: George W. Bush

time.com;

We're having a burning party after XMAS.

Speaking of which, the governor's battle continues to grow more interesting. The GOP has been saying that King County screwed up and the recently found and previously uncounted ballots should not be counted in the current hand count. But then yesterday, Snohomish County, a GOP stronghold, announced that they too had found 200+ erroneously disqualified ballots not counted the first time but then included in the hand count. Then 4 more counties of mixed partisanship also announced that they too had found some previously disqualified ballots that, in fact, were legitimate voters and included them in the hand count.

And thus ends another episode of As the Vote Turns. Will King County prevail? Does the GOP have a chance? Will Karl Rove make an unexpected visit to WA state? Does Dino Rossi use product in his hair? Does anyone really care who will be governor of WA state?

Folks, tune in tomorrow for the answers to these disturbing but titillating questions! And now a word from our sponsors.

that would obviously jeopardize Rove's ability to be the man behind the scenes.

They are learning not to cross him.
