Our cops were all outsourced to the slightly larger neighbouring village, some 15-20 years ago. They still drive through and always back again, I still miss the most famous of them (from when I was young and more active in the evenings, fridays and saturdays) But I am sure I still pay some local taxes for their, that, van, which now is always parked in the same spot (Earlier I tried to avoid driving through that specific small street, but now I do it just to check if they still have a van and somewhere to park it) However, I am also happy that our local custom control employees are busy X-rayings arriving containers, as well as using Geiger counters on them (sniffing dogs too) Those dogs are really great, even when they try to do their other great task just under the fence, wrong side of the border, of my property!! (we have this thing about the rights to always trespass, for both humans and animals) PS I believe that was one point in history when the scots got really angry..
